Q: How did you land at StickOutSocial?
A: After working as a personal stylist in the fashion industry for a year in Chicago, I decided my right brain needed some TLC and my passion for creativity wasn’t being fulfilled. I had always loved graphic design and spending hours in the lab at Mizzou working on random projects, so I decided to switch careers and start over. Since I didn’t have a large portfolio, I knew I had to start from the bottom and started looking for design internships. I stumbled upon SOS and really loved the laid-back, start-up vibe and weirdness of everyone working there. I fit right in!
Q: What’s your patronus?
Q: When did you start designing?
A: I designed for yearbook and theatre sets way back in high school, and took a few design classes at Mizzou. I never thought I could do anything with it professionally which is why I went the fashion route, something else I was also extremely passionate about. A year later, I’m continuing to learn from SOS and also doing some freelance work on the side to continue building my portfolio.
Q: What’s your favorite beverage?
A: Iced coffee & wine. But not together…
Q: What do you like most about what you do at SOS?
A: I enjoy the freedom of creativity and teaching myself along the way. I have projects and tasks that are super specific, and others that give me free range which is always the most fun! Being surrounded by so many creative people that are willing to help with anything is a huge plus!

A: Mountains! The beach! Anywhere in nature where humans can’t annoy me…
